Quick answer: No. Fomo has no single "official", "verified" or "main" referral code. Every Fomo user gets a code from Fomo's own referral program (their username), including JOIN100 and DEAL, and Fomo gives every one of them the same 10% off trading fees (0.45% instead of 0.50%). It doesn't verify, rank or endorse one code over another. DEAL is the only code we found that also pays cashback: 12.5% of your fees back in USDC, from the code owner.

Where "verified" and "main code" come from

Pages that promote one code often call it "verified", "main" or "the official code". Fomo's help center describes no verification of user codes and no main code: one referral discount, 10%, for every code. Those labels come from the page's author, not from Fomo. How to check any code yourself

  1. Open fomo.family/r/ plus the code on the phone you'll trade on, before you sign up.
  2. After your first trade, check the fee line: 0.45% means a referral discount is on.
  3. Don't rely on the invite screen: "… invited you to join fomo" appears for any text after fomo.family/r/, even a made-up name.
  4. For extras such as cashback, look for published terms and payout proof.
