- Pick the phone you'll trade on.
- Open fomo.family/r/deal in its browser.
- Install Fomo from the App Store or Google Play.
- Create your account with Apple, Google or email.
- Type DEAL if a code box appears.
- Make a small trade and check the fee line: 0.45% means the discount is on.

What Fomo's Terms say about referral codes
From Fomo's Terms of Service (dated 17 August 2026):
- Your code is your username, and Fomo controls it. Usernames are licensed by FOMO Labs Inc., can be renamed or reclaimed by Fomo, and can't be sold or transferred (section 5).
- No self-referral. You can't use your own code or refer accounts you control. Fomo can take back fee reductions or rewards gained that way (section 8).
- Terms can change. Fomo can change the referral program and its fees at any time. The fee that applies is the one shown before you confirm a trade (sections 7 and 8).
- Your wallet is yours. It's a non-custodial wallet created by Privy; you can view and export its private keys (section 6).

Do I have to type the code?
Usually not. Opening fomo.family/r/deal before signup records it. If a code box appears, type DEAL.
Can I add a referral code after signing up?
No. Fomo has no field for it after signup.
Can I use my own Fomo referral code?
No. Fomo's Terms ban self-referral, including referring accounts you control (section 8).
Can Fomo change a referral code?
Yes. A code is a username, and Fomo can rename or reclaim usernames (section 5).
How do I receive DEAL cashback?
The code owner sends it to your Fomo account in USDC, directly inside the Fomo app. There's nothing to sign up for and no wallet address to send. Payment schedule and terms are on the DEAL fee cashback page.
